Import Lab Data

Fieldshare makes it easy to import lab data, map samples to markers on the site map, and get instant standards analysis. Click Lab in the navigation bar on the left to open the Lab Data section. Click Edit Standards at the top right to change Soil Site Specific Standards and Groundwater Specific Standards for that project.

Importing data

Click Import to choose a lab file. Fieldshare supports lab data in the CSV file format, which most labs can provide upon request. The following columns of data are required in the lab CSV file:

• Sample ID
• Parameter Name
• Parameter Value
• Sample Type
• Unit
• Sample Date (DD/MM/YYYY)
• Report Date (DD/MM/YYYY)

Once the CSV is chosen, select a lab template to automatically map the CSV columns to the required data. Any problematic data mapping is highlighted with a red icon. When ready, click Import.
